Not everyone likes Tequila.  We say “What a shame!”  Tequila lovers share a special bond.  Whether it’s the mystique of the Blue Agave plant that it is made from, the smooth and unique taste or the way it makes you feel, tequila has gained a lot of respect in the last few years.  

Since 2002, sales of tequila have risen 121 percent, according to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, a trade organization.  In addition, many stars have made it their drink of choice as well as marketing their own brands.

Fern Hill’s owners, Dario Lanni and Jeff DiCaro share the tequila bond.  In fact, they like it so much that in 2013, they flew down to Mexico to make their own brand.  It became a favorite at Floodz Bar & Grill.  Dobel; 11th generation master tequila makers came to Fern Hill when they heard how much tequila was being sold there.

With the popularity of their prize tequila led to what else but a party!  Fern Hill hosted their 1st Annual Tequila Barrel Launch.  The event was such a success that the rest is history. It is a day that is looked forward to by many.  Guests are now reserving numbered bottles of their choice.

This year’s 6th Annual Tequila BarrelLaunch will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 starting at 7 pm.  The evening will feature a Mexican menu with entrees like street tacos, churros and carne asada.  Entertainment will be provided by Michael Wend and the Brothers Mogan.
